The run of my new play, Fighting, at the Brockley Jack, ended on Saturday. I was pretty much overwhelmed by the response it got - after the final performance a local regular told the assembled cast that it was the best show she'd ever seen at the venue.

It was a real pleasure working with the director Kate Bannister and the entire cast and crew.

Found your blog via a retweet on twitter--the script for Fighting is amazing! Only wish I weren't 10,000 miles away, so that I could see it live. How many minutes does the play run? I've seen scripts that are over 100 pages and those that are less, and I still can't figure how to gauge the running time.

Anyway--great blog and I'll be following your posts from now on! Best wishes from California. :-)

Thanks sis, glad you liked it. The play ran at about 60-minutes. I think, as with screenplays, a page per minute is a good rule of thumb.

Hope to see it onstage one day--perhaps @Broadway! Thanks for your reply!
